Incorrect charges on reservation. Charged too much or not enough

If you think a guest has been charged for too much or too little e.g. for breakfast, dinner this will most likely be because of the way the Article that has been used for the charge is set up. I will give you an example below.


 

RES010203 - This reservation has 2 Adults and 2 Children. The room has been booked including breakfast, but you don't charge for children's breakfast.

The breakfast Article is set up with the 'Exclude Children and Infants from Charges' unticked. This means that Children and Infants will be charged for breakfast and you will end up with a lot of confusion when it comes to check out time.

 


The same applies if you do charge for Children and Infants breakfast and the box is ticked. They wouldn't be charged, so in this case you would need to make sure the box is ticked



This is the same for any articles you use like Dinner, Packed Lunch. Always check what you have ticked at the bottom when adding an Article so you know it will be charged correctly.
