How can I see if I have any unallocated rooms?

Modified on Mon, 12 Aug at 4:39 PM

There are three methods of doing this, depending on what you need this information for and whether you need a quick overview/snapshot of a particular date or a more long-term picture.

Option 1

For a quick overview, you can go to Reservations > Room Schedule and the red area at the top of the diary view is where you will see any unallocated reservations. The red number in brackets next to the date (in blue) will be how many unallocated rooms there are for that date:

Option 2

If you wish to see a longer period of time, you can go to Reservations > Manage Reservations and either enter a specific date in the date filters at the top of the screen or leave it blank. Next, click on the "Group By Reservation" option to un-select it (so that you see the RESX items rather than the RES items) and then click on the 'Room' column header to see all unassigned reservations:

Option 3

Alternatively, you can go to Reports > Front Desk > Arrivals and either click on the 'Room No' column header to sort the results or download the report as a CSV file and then use Microsoft Excel to filter the results to show all reservations with no room number assigned:
