When a refund is processed in Hop, the original transaction is essentially sent back to the same place that it came from (i.e. reversed). If the card that was used to make the original payment is no longer valid, or the guest simply wishes to be paid back onto a different card, then that particular transaction cannot be modified. You would therefore need to process this refund via another method, such as bank transfer, cash, cheque or via your card machine (PDQ) if you have one.
