Can I refund to a different card than was used to make payment?

If a credit card payment has been taken through Hop, you can only refund back onto the same card that was used in the original transaction. This is because the transaction is simply being reversed and sent back to the same place that it came from.

 

If you need to make a refund to the same card, please use the refund 'wheel' to process the payment. 

 

The refund will take the default number of days the guests' bank usually takes to process whether that be 3-5 business days or 5-7 working days. Please ask the guest to check with their bank if they're unsure.
