Charge an existing Credit Card/Storing a Card for later use

Once you have entered guest credit card details, you can then charge it again, but you cannot see the full card details anymore (for data protection reasons), so you can only see the last 4 digits of the long card number. 

To charge a card you have already entered, go to the transaction screen of the reservation by going to 'Manage Reservations' and clicking the down-arrow next to the RES or RESX number and 'View Transactions'. Click '+Add Transaction' and choose 'Credit Card' as the Payment Method, you should then see your stored card along with the last 4 digits on that card. 

Top Tip - If you're wanting to add a card for later use when creating a booking, add the amount to 0.00 and enter the card details as normal, this will then store the card details and you can charge it at a later date. 

If you wish the card details to be saved on both sides of the reservation (RES) and (RESX), ensure you tick the box 'Link card to both Reservation and Reservation item' when creating a manual reservation. Alternatively, the card details will be saved to which side you have your charges going to.
