Checking Guests out of a room

If you are wanting to see your daily departures for the day you can quickly view them from your main dashboard by clicking on the "Check-outs Complete" widget.

 

This will then show the two departures, that are due to check out today, if you would like to take a payment before you check the guest out you can do this by clicking the drop down arrow against the RES (Reservation) or RESX (Room) number and select "View Transactions". If the guest has nothing to settle you can just select the "Check out" from the drop down.



If you need to charge the guest for their stay click "View transactions" and this will show the guests bill and how much is outstanding.  To add a payment click "Add Transaction" and select the "Transaction Type" as "Payment". And select the relevant payment method.


You can also add transactions and check out via the Room Schedule by double clicking on the booking and and selecting "Reservation Charges or Room Charges".



This will take you to the same payment screen

 

If a booking has nothing left to settle you can just click "Check out" from the Room Schedule, or the option will appear within the transaction screen once a payment has been added.



If you wish to print or email an invoice for the guest you have the option to by clicking the drop down next to "Print Invoice".
