Taking bookings through Visit Scotland

If you would like to receive bookings through Visit Scotland, the only requirements for this are as follows:

• You must have or sign up for a listing on the Visit Scotland website
  • This is completely free of charge
  • If you need to sign up, the application form is located here
• You must provide your Hop property code to Visit Scotland in their Extranet
  • This is the code that appears in your browser address bar when logged into the PMS (e.g. Hop-Hotel)
  • Instructions from Visit Scotland can be found here

Once both steps have been completed, please allow approximately 24 hours for Visit Scotland to update their database and the link will be live. You do not need to contact Hop and ask us to map your rooms and rate plans as the integration uses the same rate plans as your booking engine (i.e. those ticked as "Include in Booking Engine" in the PMS).
