Enabling iCal availability feed

For any customers wishing to use iCal they simply need to go to Administration > Booking Engine in the PMS. Head to the Configuration section and there is a tick box for enabling iCal. 

Press the 'Update Settings' button to save your changes and, now, when you go to Rooms > Room Types you will notice that when you edit a room type there is now an iCal URL at the bottom of the page, just above the Save button. 

This is a link to a calendar feed that will show if the room type is available. The benefit of this is that some smaller OTAs use this to show prospective guests your availability before booking. It is also helpful for other organisations that you may receive bookings from (e.g. specialised local groups) as it saves them having to check your avaliability by phone or email before submitting a reservation.
