The Night Audit should always run during the night. The time we would recommend it is somewhere between midnight and 3.00am, but it is entirely your decision when you would like to run it.
If you have an EPOS integration with Hop, you will need to set your Night Audit to run after you Z your tills. This is to ensure that the correct figures will be pulled into Hop.
You should however always run the Night Audit before you check out the guests on the next day, in order to have the correct stats for your End of Day Report.
You can set the Night Audit to run automatically on the Administration > Property page. To enable this you should tick the Enabled box in the Recurring Night Audit section and select a time for it to run, making sure you click Update Night Audit Settings button to save your changes. Alternatively, you can manually run the night from here by selecting Start Night Audit under Manual Night Audit.
Please ensure you have at least one email address in the Notification Email Addresses field. This will then notify that email address if the night audit has failed.
Please note if there are reservations that have not been checked out from the morning the Night Audit will fail. It will also fail if there are reservations to be checked in and you do not have the 'Marked Missed Check Ins as No Shows' checkbox, ticked.
