When your charges are added by the night audit, your default acommodation article (this is set on the Administration > Property page) is used to calculate the accommodation charges. If, however, you offer self catering accommodation as well as hotel accommodation and would like your reporting to reflect this split, Hop allows you to do this by giving you the ability to attach a diferent accommodation article to individual room types. Any room types that do not have their own accommodation article will then fall back to the default one set on your Property Admin page.
To attach a different article to a room type, head to Rooms > Room Types and click on the name of the room type you wish to edit. Once the page refreshes, scroll down towards the bottom and you will see this box:
A drop-down menu will appear here and allow you to select any of your existing articles to be used as the accommodation article for this room type.
