What is the difference between the RES and RESX?

Modified on Mon, 12 Aug at 4:57 PM

The RES number is the reference number for the reservation as a whole and each room (or reservation item) that falls underneath that has a separate RESX number.

If you have multiple rooms on a reservation the RESX number (room) is where you can store each guest’s card details and not have an issue with taking payments from the wrong card.
