If you are planning on changing your payment gateway provider, please contact [email protected] to confirm which details we will need from you, as this varies from company to company.
Once all of the necessary information is in place, we will then need to agree with you a time and date that the changeover will take place. We recommend this happens during a quiet period of the day (e.g. late morning around 12pm, once you have processed all of your check-outs but before your check-ins arrive).
Please note that after the switch, any existing cards stored on the system will no longer be able to get charged, any pre-authorisation payments you have logged cannot be redeemed or cancelled, and refunds to "old" cards (i.e. those that were logged on your original payment gateway) will no longer be able to be issued.
This is because the card details are "tokenised" and stored by the payment gateway at the time a transaction goes through and so they will no longer be able to be accessed after this point.
