There are several different ways to find out when a reservation was made and how it was received. Below are the options:
Option 1
- Go to Reservations > Manage Reservations and select Edit Reservation from the drop-down menu next to the reservation number (RES):
- Once the Edit Reservation window has opened up, you will see in the top left corner the reservation number, the date it was created and whether it was created manually by a Hop User (it will specify their username), by the Booking Engine (it will state Direct Website) or by the Channel Manager (i.e. via an OTA such as; Booking.com, Expedia or Airbnb):
Option 2
- Go to Administration > Audit Log and type the reservation number (RES) into the search box (you may need to change the date range using the date pickers so that it covers a wider period of time if you are not sure when the reservation was made).
- The Audit Log will tell you the time and date that the reservation was created, and if you click on the information in the Details column, you will be able to see further information still, such as; how many nights stay and how many rooms booked.
Option 3
- Go to Reports > Front Desk > Reservations and search for the reservation at the top (highlighted below).
- You will need to make sure the date range is around the date it was booked (you can add a few months in if you're not sure) and as long as you have the RES number at the top it will instantly find it.
