Adding a reservation/booking

There are a number of ways to start entering a new reservation/booking on Hop:


Manage Reservations

In the top right corner of the screen, click on the 'Create New' button. Select the arrival date and departure dates, chose a room type and select a rate plan. In the "booker" field, type in the name of the guest (if they have already stayed with you, an entry from your CRM database will populate this field or, if not, click on the "+" symbol to the right of that field to add the entry to your CRM database. Click on Next and you have the option to allocate a room at this stage or click Next again if you wish to leave it unallocated for the time being. On the next tab, you will now see all the charges associated with the booking. Check and update these as needed and then click Next once more to see a summary of the booking. Once you are ready to complete the booking, you just need to decide whether to create a confirmed booking or a provisional booking (which needs an expiry date before the arrival date) and click Save.


Sales View

To make a reservation from this screen, simply carry out a search, click on the desired rate and room type combination and you can make a new reservation for this room at the selected rate.


Room Schedule

Click the 'Create New' button at the top of the screen, hover your cursor over the room and date required and "draw" a new reservation over the room for as many nights as it is needed. This will then bring up the Create Reservation screen with the selected dates and room type, you just need finish entering the remaining booking details.
