Reservation Tags are used to help you determine what reservations are part of a specific group. Some examples would be: Wedding, Party, Conference, Spa, Early Check Ins, Late Check Outs, Travel Agency Booking etc.
To create a Reservation Tag, go to Administration > Property and scroll down until you arrive at 'Reservation Tags', click 'Add Colour' and then type a name in the description field and select a colour by clicking on the colour bar itself on the right, then click anywhere on the page (off the colour tab) and then 'Update Tag Settings' to save.
I have highlighted below the 'Add Colour' button so you can see where to add a new colour.
To the right side it shows 'Previous Colours' so you can keep track of the colours and tags you have used in the past.
It also shows the HEX number next to the colour, this is so you know the exact colour in case you need to use it elsewhere.
You now have this tag available as a drop-down menu when creating a new reservation or editing an existing one (on the Edit Reservation screen in Manage Reservations).
Then once you have added the tag onto the reservation. You will see your chosen colour as a large dot at the end of a booking on the Room Schedule.
Then if you double click onto the reservation so the reservation details pop up on screen, you will see the colour tag you have chosen (as shown below).
