Bulk updating restrictions allows you to add or override your restrictions for a given date range for one or more Rate Plans and/or Room Types. To access this, go to Rates > Rate Calendar then click on ‘Bulk Update’ and select ‘Restrictions’ to bring up this screen
- Click in the ‘Rate Plan Buckets’ field to select one or more of your Rate Plan Buckets.
- Click in the ‘Rate Plans’ field to select one or more Rate Plans. (Click the green icon on the right to select all or click the red cross to un-select all.)
- Click in the ‘Room Types’ field to select one or more of your Room Types. (Click the green icon on the right to select all or click the red cross to un-select all.)
- Input a date range you wish to make changes for and add/remove the days of the week as needed (e.g. if you only want to change rates for a weekend, you should remove Sunday to Thursday).
- By clicking “Add Range” you can provide another date or date range for which the restriction should apply.
You can add as many date ranges as you need and even set restrictions for several months or years in advance.
You will need to choose one or more of the following options:
Min Length of Stay | Fill in this field to set or update the minimum number of nights stay/length of stay allowed for arrivals on the date in question |
Max Length of Stay | Fill in this field to set or update the maximum number of nights stay/length of stay allowed for arrivals on the date in question |
Cut Off | Enter the number of days here, within which you do not wish to sell a rate plan (e.g. set your cut off to 7 days if you have an advance rate which can only be used if booking a stay more than a week in advance) |
Selling Status | You have the option to set the Selling Status of the Rate Plan/Room Type combination(s) to Open, Closed to Arrival, Closed to Departure, or Closed |
Once you have checked all the information is correct click Save.
