How do I bulk update rates?

If you want to update a rate plan for a period of time you can do this by going to Rates > Rate Calendar click on Bulk Update and select Rates.

Bulk updating rates allows you to override the Base Rate for a given date range for one or more Rate Plans and/or Room Types. To access this, go to Rates > Rate Calendar then click on ‘Bulk Update’ and choose ‘Rates’ to bring up this screen: 

• Click in the ‘Rate Plans’ field to select one or more Rate Plans (please note that you cannot update the rate values of a rate plan that is derived from another one, so you will not see any derived rates here).
• Click the green icon on the right to select all or click the red cross to unselect all. 
• Click in the ‘Room Types’ field to select one or more of your Room Types. Click the green icon on the right to select all or click the red cross to un-select all.  
• Input a date range you wish to make rate changes for and add/remove the days of the week as needed (e.g. if you only want to change rates for a weekend, you should remove Sunday to Thursday). 
• By clicking “Add Range” you can provide another date or date range for which the rate update should apply. You can add as many date ranges as you need and even set rates for several months or years in advance. 
• Enter the new base rate that you wish to apply and Hop will automatically calculate the price difference for your more expensive rooms, based upon how much you have configured room type supplements in Rates > Rate Plans
