Email confirmations for OTA bookings

The automatic sending of confirmation emails for OTA reservations is omitted by Hop on the basis that the guest always receives a confirmation from the OTA that they have booked through. 


If you manually send a confirmation from Hop it will, however get sent, provided that there is a valid email address in place (even if it is one of the "alias" email addresses provided by booking.com for example) and any pre-stay emails etc will also be sent as normal.

 

You can choose whether to create your own confirmation email templates by updating your settings on the relevant OTA extranet, otherwise a default one will be sent.
