Email confirmations for OTA bookings

The automatic sending of confirmation emails for OTA reservations is omitted by Hop on the basis that the guest always receives a confirmation from the OTA in question. If you manually send a confirmation from Hop it will, however get sent, provided that there is a valid email address in place (even if it is one of the "alias" email addresses provided by for example) and any pre-stay emails etc. will also be sent as normal of course. 

You can choose whether to create your own confirmation email templates by updating your settings on the relevant OTA extranet, otherwise a default one will be sent.
