A guest added breakfast on booking.com so why does it show as our Room Only rate?

This is likely due to the fact that you have a Room Only and a B&B rate available on Booking.com, but the guest has chosen to book on a Room Only Basis and then added breakfast as an optional extra. 

 

Hop will cater for this scenario by increasing the cost accordingly, but the rate plan will not change in Hop because the rate plan on Booking.com has not been changed either. 

 

You can either add a breakfast article onto the reservation and amend the cost of the rate plan accordingly or change the rate plan to one that includes breakfast. 


Please note - if the guest amends anything else on their booking the amendment will be sent through to Hop and it will default back to the original rate plan that was sent through when the guest first booked (i.e. Room Only in the above scenario).
