If email confirmations are not being sent to guests/bookers, please first of all go to Administration > Property and scroll down to the Property Settings area. There are a number of tickboxes here that could prevent emails being sent:
- 'Disable Sending Booking Confirmations' must be un-ticked otherwise no confirmation emails will be sent at all
- 'Disable Automatic Sending of Booking Confirmations' must be un-ticked if you want confirmation emails to be sent automatically whenever a reservation is made
if the above boxes are unticked and guests/bookers are still not receiving emails.
Please check your SMTP details are correct- you can check them in Administration - SMTP Servers. if your password has recently changed please update this, as the password always needs to be up to date in order to send emails through hop. (this is usually the most common reason)
