Why does the room configuration change throughout the day in the Housekeeping room status section?

If you are using the Housekeeping > Room Status view to check what the room layout for arriving guests should be, you should be aware that this is not always the most accurate way to do this. This screen is not a report but a live status view and is therefore updated throughout the day when guests in and check out so you may be looking at the wrong room layout.

The most accurate way of checking the room layout for the coming day is to use the Arrivals report which can be found in the Reports > Front Desk section of the PMS.
