Adding a Promotion to an existing rate plan

Modified on Wed, 04 Jan 2023 at 04:16 PM

You can now add a Promotion to an existing rate plan you have set up. To do this go to and click on the name of the rate you want to add a Promotion to.

Next, click on the Promotions tab down the left-hand side:

From here you need to add your promo code e.g. SummerDiscount. The change unit can be a percentage or a value. You can select what days you want the discount to apply to, for example if you only want it to apply to weekdays then you just delete the days you don't want included.

You then have the option to select what dates this Promotion can be booked for. For example if you only want it to be bookable for a certain month just select the dates. If you want it to be bookable for the foreseeable future then leave this section blank. If you want the Promotion to apply for the months of September and October the select the dates accordingly.

Next is when this Promotion is active from and to. For example if you only want people to be able to book this for 3 weeks then you just choose the dates accordingly.

You also have the option to Exclude all other rate plans if promo code is used. Just tick the box for this.

Once you are happy that everything is filled in correctly click the Add button at the bottom and your promotion will be saved.

.

To show you an example I have set up a Promotion as follows:

  • Promo Code - BacktoSchool
  • Charge unit - Percentage  Change Value - 15
  • Applicable to - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Booking from - 01/09/2020 to 31/10/2020
  • Active from - 12/05/2020 to 30/06/2020

Once I have clicked Add it will show the promotion as below:
