*Rate Plan Packages can only be used for direct bookings through Hop and the Booking Engine

This is an overview of all your Rate Plan Packages, with indications whether the plans are included in the Sales View and/or the Booking Engine and whether they are active/inactive. You can use the search box to find rate plan packages, only have rate plans of a certain rate plan bucket displayed and filter results by clicking on any of the headers.

Add a new Rate Plan Package

Details

Click on the “+Add” button on the top right, on the next screen complete the data fields to add a new Rate Plan Package. Select and include relevant articles by ticking the respective boxes. Click “Save” before leaving the page.

Rates

The base rate for the package is set in the details page. Here you have the option to mark the Room Type ”active” for the Rate Plan, tick the box in the “Active” column. You can also enter any difference in package amounts by room type. Click “Save” before leaving the page.

Articles

Here you can add articles to your package. If you have ticked the ‘Include articles in package’ box in Details then these will be included in the total package amount.  When selecting the article you can override the price if you need to, then select if it is only applicable ‘On Arrival’ or ‘Per Day’. If you have an article you only want to charge on a specific night or a few nights during the package when ‘Per Day’ is selected you can enter the night number you wish it to be charged on, so for example a 3 night package with dinner on the final night, you enter 3 in the ‘charge night’ box. For all nights leave this box blank. You can enter an article more than once, so if there are 2 dinners in a 7 night package you can add both of these in.

Promotions

Use Promo Code - If you are creating a rate plan package for use by a specific customer or customer type (e.g. a corporate rate for a business that regularly sends its employees to stay with you) you can select Promo Code and just add the name of the code you want to supply to your customer.

Use Discount Code - If you wish to create one or more discounted promotions then you can select Discount code for this. Add a discount code name (e.g. "Flash Sale" or "Summer 2021") that your guests will need to enter when checking availability in order to access the discount and decide whether you wish your discount to be calculated as a monetary value or a percentage and then the amount to be applied (e.g. £25 or 15%). Next, you should decide which days of the week the discount will be applicable to, the stay dates it refers to (this is the Booking From and Booking To dates) and the validity dates of the offer itself (this is the Active From and Active To dates). Once all the details are filled in click Add.

Editing a  Promotion

It is also possible to edit the settings of an existing one. To amend the configuration of a Promotion, simply click on its name and then adjust any of the details as needed. Once you are happy with you changes, press Apply to Save them.

Restrictions

The package is set to open as default, if you wish to set date ranges to your plan, just click the ‘Use Date Ranges’ button. Fill in the required fields then click the +Add Restriction button.

This section displays the history of the Rate Plan Package and the Current tab will show you what restrictions are currently applied; this makes it clear should you change the restrictions often.

Rate Updates

This is where you can adjust your Package Price for specific date ranges and room types. Once you have filled in the required details, click the ‘Add Adjustment’ button. Below this, the history of adjustments is shown for you, you can use the search box or search for specific date ranges. You can order the results by clicking on the column you wish to order them by.
