If you get an error message on your till (Clover, Point One, etc.) that says "Room not configured" or "Room not available" when trying to send a charge to a guest who stays with you, please check if "Has Charge Privileges" has been ticked on the reservation, by going to Reservations > Manage Reservations. All you need to do is select 'Edit Item' from the Reservation Item (RESX) drop-down menu, go to the 'Charges' tab at the top of the screen when the new screen opens and ensure that the below checkbox has been ticked and then click 'Save'.
You can also have "charge privileges" switched on as a default for all guests, so you don't have to manually go in and add it on for each individual guest. To add this feature on for all guests go to Administration > Property and scroll down to 'Property Settings' until you see the checkbox below. Ensure you have clicked the 'Update Settings' button at the bottom of the checkboxes to save.
