There are four steps that you need to follow when setting up Google Tag Manager to work with Hop. These are as follows:
- Setting Up A Google Tag Manger container for a site - https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/6103696?hl=en
- Add container you have just created to web script
- Install Google Analytics to your Google tag manager container - https://www.monsterinsights.com/how-to-implement-google-analytics-with-google-tag-manager/
- Ecommerce (This is advanced will require technical support) - https://lightson.co/google-analytics-ecommerce-tracking-hotels/ - if using Hop this should already be done, if done correctly it should work from turning on enhanced e-commerce and entering your ID into the booking engine to connect the two platforms.
