How to make Source and Referral Source mandatory for Events

Properties can choose if they would like event source and event referral source to be mandatory fields for staff to complete on each event.

This can be beneficial for the hotel if they need to report on these sources.

to enable the sources to be mandatory this can be set by going to Administration - Property, scrolling down to Property settings and ticking the below boxes. then click update settings to save this.

if you try to save an event without adding the sources, you will see a validation error message at the top right of the screen and the box(es) will be highlighted in red to show information needs to be completed.

Properties can customise the sources e.g Wedding Show . To add your own sources which are unique to your property if you go to Administration – Option sets and search source and or referral source you can add them in and also add a sort order if required.
