Taking bookings through Google

Free Booking Links

Our integration with Google is completely free for all Hop customers; there is no setup fee, no commission, and Google does not charge you for this either.

Please click here to watch a short video by Google or here to read their Starter Guide, however as long as you have a Google Business Listing then Hop can help you to display your hotel availability and rates on Google Search, Google Maps, and other services.

When you are ready to opt into this service, please contact the Hop Support Team who will confirm some basic information with you, such as which room types and rate plans you would like to use for this. Once we have set up the connection, it will take around 24 hours for Google to activate your Free Booking Links online.

Paid Google Ads

As with other aspects of Google, these "Free Booking Links" will show up below sponsored ads and other paid content.

If you would like your property to be similarly promoted, you will need to provide Hop with your Google Ads Customer ID (this will either be in the format XXX-XXX-XXXX or XXXXXXXXXX). We will then connect your free listing to your Google Ads account and you will receive a notification that we have sent you an Invitation to connect. Once you accept this, no further action is required from either party, however please be aware that it may take up to 72 hours for Google to update its systems to reflect the changes.

Please email help@hopsoftware.com if you wish to be opted in or to find out more information.

Please note that this integration is for what Google classifies as Hotels, as opposed to Vacation Rentals. Please click here for more information on how they categorise the two.
