Pay By Links for Events

You will now find an option to add Pay By Link Deposits on the 'Rates' tab when you're creating an Event. You can add multiple deposits at different values. For example, Deposit 1 = £1000, Deposit 2 = £400, and Deposit 3 = £250, if it was a big event and the organisers wanted to pay multiple deposits etc. 

 

 

Click the Add button for he deposit value field to appear, click Add multiple times to add multiple deposit fields. 


 

Once you have saved the Event, these will create the Custom Fields you need for your email templates under Administration > Email Templates. Whether this is for an Event Confirmation or Event Pre-Stay email. As highlighted below, you will see pay by link URLs depending on how many you have set up in the event (as above). 


These will become links for your guest to settle their deposit and once payment has been made this will link directly with the House Account for the Event.

 

 


You can set up a time and date for the pay by link emails to be sent out. To do this go to Administration > Email/SMS Content, click +Add button, choose your email type and email template (you will only be able to choose from this drop-down when you add your email type in and have set up the email template ready). 

Then add your 'time period in days' for when you want it to be sent out, for example - if you choose an event pre-arrival email type and time period in days is 7, this will be sent out 7 days before the event. 

Correspondence type will be Email and then add in your 'Time to Send'. Ensure you click the  'Activate' checkbox and then click 'Save'.
