Sometimes a hotel may offer extras, such as a supplement for allowing pets in the room or the ability to pre-order a bottle of champagne to be waiting on arrival. It is not, however, something that (for a variety of reasons) you may want to offer to all guests booking all rooms, or it may be seasonal. We therefore have added the ability to exclude Services based on your Room Type and/or Rate Plans.
Excluding by Room Type
To do this, go to Administration > Excluded Services. From here, click the +Add button and select a Room Type from the dropdown menu. Underneath, select the Service that should not be available for this Room Type, add a date range if required and click Save. Going forwards, guests who book online and staff entering a reservation manually will not be able to select this combination of Room Type and Service.
For example, in the image below, we are stopping people making a reservation for a Executive King Room and adding the Pet Charge extra:

Going forwards, guests who book online and staff entering a reservation manually will not be able to select this combination of Rate Plan and Service.
For example, in the image below, we are stopping people making a reservation on the DINNER BED BREAKFAST rate plan and adding the Two Course Dinner on top, as dinner is already included in the rate plan:
