Management Report - Occupancy

Modified on Wed, 07 Jun 2023 at 03:14 PM

This report displays the Occupancy percentages for a given date range, as well as key figures such as Revenue, Targets and Average Daily Rate.

At the top of the page, you have the option to use the ‘Room Groups’ filter if you organise your Rooms into different Groups. You can also tick the ‘Group By Room Category’ if you organise your Room Types into different Categories – this will split the report so that each Room Category has its own row in the report for each date.

This report is available to download the report in CSV or PDF format.

Key definitions

Rooms Target For more information on how to set this and other targets, please click here

In House Guests: This differs from your Occupancy figures because Occupancy percentage is based on the ratio of rooms sold against maximum number of rooms available to be sold, without taking into account the number of people that were physically in those rooms

Occ Adjusted: This is a calculation of your Occupancy percentage with the number of rooms that were put Out of Order or Out of Inventory taken into account.

Accommodation: Your accommodation revenue for the date(s) in question

Extras: The revenue generated by any extras (i.e. articles that are NOT accommodation, such as food or drinks) for the date(s) in question

ADR: Average Daily Rate for the date(s) in question.

For the occupancy report specifically:

Historic bookings will use the VAT at the time the transaction was created (ie what the article had the VAT set to)

Future bookings (regardless of when booked - before or after the VAT change) will use the current property VAT at the time the report is run

This report displays figures in NET value.
