Events - Event Reminders

The Event Reminders feature allows you to set up automatic reminders at pre-set intervals before an event is due to take place. Choose the number of days/weeks/months/years prior to the event that you wish to set the reminder for and hop will set up a task to remind you on the day in question. 

 

 

To create a new reminder, all you need to do is: 

 

  • Click on the +Add button.
  • Choose a subject (name) for the reminder.
  • Select which event type or types it applies to
  • Decide on the number of days/weeks/months/years in advance you want it to be set for
  • Add some notes to expand on the reason the reminder has been created.

Once you press save, a task will automatically be created for the appropriate timeframe. You can find this by heading to Tasks > Manage and using the search box.
