Void reasons

The Voids report displays of all voids that have been made on the filtered dates, including reservations details, the user that processed the void and reason for the void. If you need to change the list of void reasons that are available to staff, this can be done by going to Administration > Option Sets in the PMS. 


Once there, use the drop-down menu to locate "Transaction Void Reason" from the list:



To create a new void reason, click the +Add button in the top right corner and complete the information as needed:



The Option Value is the wording that you wish to appear onscreen as your new void reason.

The Sort Order will determine the order that this void reason will appear in when the list of void reasons appears onscreen.


To change an existing void reason, click on its name to edit it, update the information as needed and then press Save to confirm your changes.
