This report shows all the reservations where there is an open balance sitting. Past dates are highlighted in red and should be actioned.
An open transaction can occur in various scenarios. For example, when charges have been applied, but the credit card payment has declined or a deposit has been paid, but the guest was a no-show. This report is a useful tool to highlight these issues.
When the report is initially loaded the results displayed without any date filters will show the past 30 days worth of open transactions.
The Date Range filter will apply an Arrival and Departure date. For example, the below screenshot shows 01/07/2024 - 31/07/2024 which would assign an Arrival date of 01/07/2024 and a departure date of 31/07/2024 and will display any reservations with an open transaction between these dates.
The created date filter will display any open transactions where the posting date of the transactions is on or after the date selected.
The report can be downloaded in PDF or CSV format.
