We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
Enhanced Derived Rate Flexibility
Following customer feedback, we’ve introduced improvements to how derived rates are calculated in Hop.
You can now define different room supplements per rate plan, giving you greater control and flexibility in your pricing strategy.
What’s New
When creating or editing a derived rate plan, you’ll now see the option to:
“Override Base Room Rates from *Level 1 Rate Plan* ”
This allows you to apply room supplements directly from your original base rate plan, regardless of how many levels of derivation exist. Currently, any room supplements would be carried over to the derived rates.
Example
Even if you’re working with a multi-level structure (e.g. DBB derived from BB), any room supplement overrides will always reference the Level 1 rate plan (RO).
