Rate Plan and Policy Tags.

Our new Booking Engine now includes the ability to add colour-coded tags for both Rate Plans and Policies. These tags help provide additional clarity for inclusions in rate plans and policies. Below is a guide to setting up and managing your tags effectively.

Key Features of Tags:

  • Maximum Display: Up to 6 tags will be displayed on the Booking Engine at any time.
  • Character Limit: Each tag can have a maximum of 30 characters.
  • Colour Coding: Tags can be assigned colours to indicate their tone or purpose:
    • Red: Negative
    • Green: Positive
    • Grey: Neutral

How to Add Tags:

  • Tag Name: Enter the name of the tag. This is the text that will be displayed. Please ensure this is within a 30-character limit
  • Tag Type: Specify whether the tag is for a Rate Plan or a Policy.
  • Tag Colour: Choose a colour to represent the tag (Red, Green, or Grey).
  • Sort Order: Assign a numerical value to determine the display order of tags
    • If more than 6 tags are applied to a Rate Plan or Policy, the sort order will determine which tags are displayed. Lower numbers are given priority.

Once the tag has been created you can then apply these to your rate plans and policies.

Please see below how this displays on the booking engine.

Ability for property to define booking engine default phone prefix

We have added the ability to define a default phone prefix which is shown on the Booking Engine.

As a default this will be set as +44 United Kingdom.

You can update this by going to Administration > Booking Engine. You will find a drop-down list to then select your preferred default phone code.

Differentiate between online and offline cards

We have added the ability to now split online and offline cards, this is particularly useful in the case that some hotels like to use Amex for manual payments but do not want to offer this for online payments.

In option sets you can now define this.

Ability to select and close multiple HA’s

For hotels that need to close multiple House Accounts simultaneously, we’ve introduced a new bulk close feature. Here’s how it works:

  1. Select Accounts: Use the white tick box next to each account to select the ones you wish to close.
  2. Close Accounts: Once selected, click the "Close House Accounts" button located in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Balance Requirement: Ensure each account has a balance of £0 before attempting to close. Accounts with remaining balances cannot be closed.
