Sending invoices from RESX.
In your Reservation follow-up email, you have the option to attach either an invoice from the RES, which will be forwarded to the booker, or an RESX, which will be forwardedto the guest.
Partial payments and overpayments on CSL (better handling of credit notes).
We have introduced better handling of credit notes within the CSL.
You can now apply a credit note to specific invoices click to “Add Credit Note”
From there you can apply the credit note to a specific invoice to deduct the balance.
If a credit note has been applied to the account as a whole this can then be applied to a specific invoice at a later date
Alerts when a payment has been made via Pay-By-Link.
Introducing a new dashboard widget designed to enhance your experience – the Pay-By-Link payment alert widget. By default, this feature will promptly notify you of payments made within the last 24 hours. Furthermore, when you apply a specific date filter, it will seamlessly display all payments processed on that chosen date.
Pay-By-Link guest receipts.
With the introduction of the Pay-By-Link widget, we are excited to offer you the option to generate Pay-By-Link receipts that can be automatically dispatched to your guests upon payment.
To craft these emails, simply access the "Administration" section and select "Templates." You'll find several versatile options at your disposal, including:

Emailing Pro-Forma Invoices
Additionally, we've also streamlined the process of emailing Proforma invoices. You can now create Proforma Invoice templates to seamlessly utilize this feature from the Transaction screen of a reservation or house account.
To set up these emails, navigate to "Administration" > "Templates" and specify the template type as either "Reservation Proforma Invoice" or "House Account Proforma Invoice." This enhancement provides you with greater flexibility and efficiency in your communication with guests and clients.
Payment allocation when creating reservations.
We've implemented a system update to streamline the allocation of payments for manually created reservations right at the point of their creation. This ensures that payments are accurately posted to the corresponding transaction page, be it at the Reservation or Room level.
If your default setting has the "Charge to Room" level option enabled, any payment made during the reservation creation process will now be conveniently recorded on the RESX Transaction page.
Conversely, for those who don't have this option enabled by default, payments will be allocated to the RES transaction page. This enhancement provides a more tailored and intuitive payment allocation process.
Discounts to show as a negative in the postings report.
In the past, the Postings Report displayed discounts as positive numbers, in line with its purpose of showcasing posted transactions. However, we've introduced a user-friendly enhancement that allows you to opt for a more intuitive presentation. Now, you have the flexibility to select a checkbox to display Discounts as negative amounts within the Postings Report. This feature ensures a clearer and more consistent representation of your financial data.

Pay Later Option For Specific Rate Plans via PO Number
We have introduced a feature to give customers the ability to Pay Later via PO number via the Booking Engine. This means when a reservation is made online, they do not need to provide credit card details to guarantee the booking.
To enable this option there are a few steps below to get this configured.
First head to Administration > Property and find the below setting.
Whilst in Administration head to the Booking Engine submenu. You can also enable additional terms & conditions when using the Pay Later option. This is a customizable text box with an additional check box to confirm they have read and accepted these.
To make the company selectable on the new search option on the Booking Engine go to the Corporate account in CRM. You will find a check box “Can use for Pay By Company Invoice on Booking Engine?”

The final step is to activate which rate plans you would like this option be available to. You will find a tick box named “Can Use For Pay By Company Invoice On Booking Engine?”
As certain companies may only be able to access this pay later option the best way to make this available to only those customers is via the use of a Promo Code on the desired rate plan.
Validation of PO Numbers
You can now validate PO numbers on a reservation we have 3 statuses “Not Checked”, “Valid” & “Not Valid”
This will then display on the reservations report on the PO number column.
