CSL - Accounts Overview

Modified on Fri, 06 Jan 2023 at 03:00 PM

The Accounts Overview shows you at-a-glance totals for the current balance and credit limit of each of your corporate clients, and allows you to record payments to clear invoices. Click on a company account reference number for a more in-depth look at each client.

To download an invoice

You have the option to download an invoice to send to the corporate client, or a copy of the original invoice generated on the day that the service was provided.

To email an invoice

You have the option to email an invoice directly to the corporate client, by clicking on the red envelope icon next to the invoice and original invoice icons.

To add a payment

Click the 'Payment on Account' button to make a generic payment against the client's account.

Alternatively, select a transaction and press the 'Settle with Payment' button to add a payment against it and settle that particular invoice.

To add a Credit Note

Press the Credit Note button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. In the Activity field, you can select the invoice you want to allocate the payment to by using the drop-down menu or searching by invoice number. Once selected, enter the amount you want to allocate to this invoice and then press Add Credit Note. Alternatively, you can leave the Activity field empty and not allocate the Credit Note to a specific invoice, in which case it will be used to deduct money from the overall balance:

To move a transaction

On occasion, you may find that you need to move a transaction that has gone onto the wrong company within the CSL. To do this, go to CSL > Accounts Overview and click on the relevant company name to view its invoice activities. Select the "+" sign next to the transaction you would like to move in order to expand it and in the far right-hand corner you will see a Move button:

Press this and you will be presented with a pop-up window which will allow you to search for the correct company you wish to move it to.
